Bathroom Arranger

Keeping toothbrushes, toothpaste, and various bathroom containers organized can be quite challenging. To address this issue, I designed a bathroom arranger consisting of a tray and several boxes that stand on the tray. The largest box is designated for toothbrushes and toothpaste, while the smaller ones hold other containers.

Here is an overview of my sketching and modeling process in Autodesk Fusion 360:

My initial prototype was a success from a functional perspective. Although I wasn't pleased with the color due to the lack of a black-and-white printer, I appreciated how the containers fit perfectly on the tray with minimal gaps, making them easy to remove, clean, and rearrange. The glossy bottom surface of the print also facilitated easy cleaning. However, I noticed that the thin walls of the containers were prone to breaking, likely due to their reduced size.

Based on the prototype feedback, I made several enhancements:

  • Bottom Tray Patterns: Added patterns at the bottom of the tray for easier gripping.

  • Extra Dividers: Included additional dividers in the containers to provide users with more organizational options.

Detailed sketches of the final design are available here:

The final print, coated with XTC-3D, features glossy outer walls for added durability and aesthetic appeal.
