HD-27

This is a role-playing game featuring a collection of four simple yet captivating mini-games, each distinguished by a unique gaming mechanism and distinct art style. Players assume the role of HD-27, a robot unexpectedly granted consciousness. Confronted by the threat of capture and destruction, players embark on a journey guiding HD-27 to successfully evade law enforcers by winning the games. Employing the Godot game engine and tools including Aseprite, Blender, Figma, and Procreate, I developed four games and integrated them into a single narrative, exploring the concept of combining multiple game worlds into a singular experience. By unfolding the story, this project delves into questions about the future of robotics, artificial intelligence, human-robot relationships, and the intriguing prospect of machines attaining consciousness and free will.
