I designed a teapot composed of four parts that fit together seamlessly. Below are the details of each part and the design process, illustrated with my sketches:
Part 1: body
I started by sketching the profile of the kettle body and used the revolve tool to create the 3D shape.
And then, I applied Fillet to round the bottom.
I sliced the body and created a smaller hole in the upper body using Extrude and a larger hole in the lower body using Shell.
Part 2: lid
For the lid, I sketched its shape and revolved it. And then, I add a handle on the lid by creating a cylinder and adding fillet.
Part 3: spout
The spout is created with Loft. Then, I made a hole on the kettle body, so water can be out.
Part 4: handle
Finally, I used Sweep to make the handle.
